A funding grant of £30,000 has been provisionally awarded through the Lancashire
Environmental Fund (LEF) towards the refurbishment of the parish council owned
play area. This grant in addition to other funds raised from the annual wind farm
grant, Aggregate Industries (quarry owners) and the village hall along with help from
local builders will be used to fund the works. It is hoped the works will be carried out
during the coming summer months.
