Join us at Hug in a Mug on 9th December where the Citizens’ Advice Bureau and Age UK will be attending to provide support to any villagers who would appreciate help in completing paperwork to ensure that any benefits that they are entitled to are received. For example, Pension Credit which is key to getting access to the Winter Fuel Allowance and can involve complex paperwork. This is a free, drop in session- no need to book. Just come along for some friendly support and advice if you need it.

Halloween Party
The Nether Kellet Village Hall committee are planning this year’s Halloween party, which will be held on Sat 26th Oct. Look out for further details in Round and About and Facebook.
Kellet Lane planned closure?
Some of you will have noticed the yellow signs notifying road users that Kellet Lane will be closed from Mon 23rd Sept, for 26 days.
No further information has been published on the Lancashire County Council road works bulletin, and the sign appears to have been moved for now.

Watch England vs Spain at the Village Hall
The one you’ve been waiting for, England play Spain in the final of Euro 2024.
The Village Hall will be open from 5pm on Sunday 14th July, serving food and drink for anyone who would like to join the fun and watch the drama unfold.
The match starts at 8pm – Look forward to seeing you there!
England semi-final match
Following England’s flawless penalty shootout to win their quarter-final match against Switzerland, the Village Hall will once again be opening the bar to everyone who wants to cheer on England in their semi-final against Netherlands, on Wed 10th July.
The Village Hall will be open from 7pm, with the match starting at 8pm.
England quarter final match
The Village Hall will be welcoming everyone to come and watch the Euro Quarter Final match between England and Switzerland on Sat 6th July.
The bar will be open from 3:30pm ready for match kick-off at 5pm.
Children under 16 must be supervised.
Come and join the build-up, nail biting action, and post-match banter!
England match at Nether Kellet Village Hall
The Nether Kellet Village Hall will be screening the next England match against Slovakia at this year’s Euro Championships on Sunday 30th June.
The Village Hall will be open on Sunday from 3:30pm, in plenty of time for kick-off at 5:00pm.
The Village Hall will be running a Bar and BBQ for the occasion – come along and join the celebrations
